“I’ve been training pretty hard with my surfing and fitness so that I can perform at the best of my ability”
claimed Tarryn, in preparation for the intense physical and mental strain that a full year of surfing and

Aside from her role of professional surfer and women’s ambassador, Tarryn has a creative, quirky and artistic
side to her that many people are unaware of. One of the mediums through which this part of her character is
revealed is via her personal blog. “I’m actually in the process of renovating my blog, so keep tuned; it’s going
to be bigger and better and full of my daily excursions into the big wide world” said Tarryn, who invites anyone to follow her eccentric adventures at http://tarryn‐likeseriously.blogspot.com/
Billabong’s design department has also collaborated with Tarryn and will be introducing a co‐op signature tee
that will hit stores in the Billabong Hi‐Summer 2010 range around November later this year. “I’ve had so much fun working on my signature tee,” remarked Tarryn. “It’s been a dream of mine to have something I designed from Billabong and I can’t wait to see it in store”
Tarryn is also starring in a six‐part reality show of the Billabong Girls Get Out There Tour which will be aired on Vuzu, channel 123 on DSTV, starting on the 4th of March. The show documents the journey undertaken by Tarryn and 7 other Billabong ambassadors as they travelled from Jeffreys Bay to Durban and all the way back to Cape Town in a bright pink bus, exploring the South African coastline. “I’m extremely excited about this venture as it’s an amazing opportunity to grow my profile,” said the Kommetjie local.
Billabong team manager, Ryan Payne was extremely excited to have Tarryn rejoin the team. “It’s not often you get an athlete like Tarryn; she is hardworking, driven and extremely talented. Tarryn is also stylish and fashion conscious which shines through her appearance, art, photos and writing. She ticks off all the boxes as a role model as well as a professional athlete and we are ecstatic that Tarryn will continue to represent the brand!”
